Eco-Friendly Sustainable Construction is what we do
Ourganda Community Facility Centre – Nyahuka, Bundibugyo District
In the heart of Nyahuka, Bundibugyo District a region long challenged by isolation and security threats we delivered a transformative project: the Ourganda Community Facility Centre. This milestone achievement is the cornerstone of Ourganda’s broader vision to develop a world-class campus that brings lasting hope and opportunity to the people of Bundibugyo.
With the unwavering support of Ourganda Ministries, we successfully executed the project from concept to completion in just 18 months. What began as a dense, undeveloped cocoa plantation is now a fully operational, life-changing community facility that serves as a central hub for health, education, and empowerment.
Our team approached this project with precision and innovation. We implemented eco-conscious construction solutions, using Interlocking Stabilised Soil Blocks (ISSBs), a sustainable, cost-effective alternative to traditional building materials. This not only minimized the environmental impact but also enhanced structural quality and long-term durability.
The facility is now fully in use and continues to improve the lives of hundreds in the region, offering vital services in a safe, accessible, and welcoming space. This project stands as a testament to what’s possible when expertise, purpose, and partnership come together.
This facility is already changing lives, and it will continue to do so for generations. For our team, this was more than a construction project; it was an opportunity to create meaningful, measurable change in a community that needed it most.

Delivering Durable, Eco-Friendly Staff Housing in a High-Risk Region
In Bundibugyo District, Western Uganda, an area often impacted by ADF insurgencies, Brick by Brick Construction Company successfully delivered five permanent housing units for medical staff at Ntandi Health Centre II.
Despite the region’s security challenges, our team executed this project with precision, safety, and efficiency. Each unit was designed and built using sustainable, eco-friendly construction technologies, emphasizing energy efficiency, structural durability, and low maintenance. By incorporating locally sourced materials and green building techniques, we minimized environmental impact while ensuring long-term resilience.
This project was completed in close coordination with Arlo and Herman Mellish, whose collaboration played a key role in achieving the project’s success.
The new staff houses have had a transformational impact on healthcare service delivery, providing safe and reliable accommodation for frontline health workers. Improved living conditions have enhanced staff retention, boosted morale, and strengthened community access to essential medical services.
This initiative reflects our mission: to build safe, sustainable infrastructure where it’s needed most.
